A fine porcelain collector plate from the Danbury Mint The Beano Official Product Plate Collection featuring the character Pansy Potter. The circular plate features a multi-coloured transfer-printed decoration depicting several comic book panels and a large central illustration of Pansy Potter holding a copy of The Beano comic, set against a background of crumbling masonry. The rim is finished with a gilt line. The reverse of the plate bears several printed marks including the official Beano logo, licensing information for D.C. Thomson and Co. Ltd. dated 2001, the character name Pansy Potter, and a facsimile signature for Danbury Mint. The item is accompanied by its original Certificate of Authenticity bearing the serial number 0208 and is housed in the original moulded polystyrene protective packaging.
