A varied assortment of vintage and antique decorative objects and curiosities. The collection includes a black lacquer jewellery box in the Oriental style, featuring hand-painted landscape scenes, a mirrored interior, and internal drawers with orange tassels. Also present is a piano-shaped music box made from a translucent material resembling tortoiseshell or celluloid, decorated with mother-of-pearl floral inlays and containing a miniature ballerina figure against a red-lined interior. Further items include a large polished animal horn, a bent-stem wooden smoking pipe, and a circular wooden box with a tropical landscape scene to the lid. Utility items and ephemera include a vintage cardboard box for sharpening stones marked for The Carborundum Company Ltd, a small wooden box with decorative metal mounts, and a red metal tin containing a large quantity of loose and assorted world postage stamps.
