This is a handcrafted wooden display model of a Grumman F-14 Tomcat fighter aircraft. The piece is constructed from carved wood with a high-gloss lacquered finish. It utilizes contrasting wood stains to highlight features such as the cockpit canopy, nose cone, and engine exhausts. The model features functional variable-sweep wings and is accompanied by a matching wooden display stand with a curved support arm and a weighted rectangular base. A group of carved wooden scale ordnance pieces, representing air-to-air missiles, is included. A small, white rectangular label is present on the underside of the base, but any text is illegible.
