Another Great Auction
A clear glass dressing table jar of cylindrical form with a panelled design towards the base. The jar is topped with a sterling silver collar and a plain, polished pull-off silver lid. The silver mounts are struck with a full set of British hallmarks including the maker mark T&S for Turner & Simpson, the anchor assay office mark for Birmingham, the lion passant standard mark for .925 sterling silver, and the date letter m corresponding to the year 1911.
