Another Great Auction
An assortment of ceramic items and a boxed book set featuring illustrations from The World of Beatrix Potter. The ceramic selection consists of three plates: a 1982 commemorative Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle birthday plate, a Peter Rabbit birthday plate with blue trim, and a Christening plate with a repeating rim pattern. Further items include two teapot-shaped tea bag tidies depicting Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle and Peter Rabbit, two egg cups with character illustrations and text, and a small child’s mug. A painted figurine of Peter Rabbit is also included. The collection is accompanied by a boxed set titled The World of Peter Rabbit Beatrix Potter Story Collection, containing five books. The ceramic pieces feature transfer-printed designs based on the original Beatrix Potter illustrations and are produced under license from Frederick Warne and Co.
