Another Great Auction
A collection of vintage manual wind wristwatches from the mid-20th century. The collection includes a Hy. Moser gent’s wristwatch featuring a silver-toned base metal case and a white dial with black Arabic numerals, luminescent hour dots, cathedral-style hands, and a sub-seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position. The dial is marked HY. MOSER and SWISS. It is fitted with a stainless steel expansion bracelet. Also included is a Rodania gent’s wristwatch with a gold-toned case and a black dial with applied gold-toned baton markers. The dial features a three-spoke circular logo and is marked RODANIA, 17 JEWELS, and INCABLOC. It is presented on a distressed brown leather strap. A Timex date wristwatch is included, featuring a silver-toned case and a champagne sunburst dial with silver-toned baton markers and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is marked TIMEX and GREAT BRITAIN. It is fitted with a stainless steel beads-of-rice style bracelet. The collection further includes a Superoma De Luxe watch head with a silvered dial, baton markers, and a crown logo, marked SUPEROMA DE LUXE, ELECTRONICALLY TESTED, ANTIMAGNETIC, and SWISS. Completing the collection is an Alprosa mid-size wristwatch with a silver-toned case, cream dial with stylized Arabic numerals, and a sub-seconds dial at 6 o’clock, fitted with a black leather strap.
