Another Great Auction
This lot comprises two vintage Sekonda wristwatches, manufactured during the mid-20th century when the brand served as a primary importer of Soviet-made timepieces. The first watch features a gold-plated base metal case of cushion form with an integrated gold-tone mesh-link bracelet and folding clasp. The champagne sunburst dial is set with applied gold-tone baton hour markers, matching hands, and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is signed Sekonda and 17 Jewels. The second watch features a chrome-plated or stainless steel cushion-shaped case with hooded lugs, currently fitted to a black leather strap. The cream-coloured dial displays black Arabic numeral hour markers, baton hands, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. It is signed Sekonda, 17 Jewels, and Made in USSR. Both timepieces are powered by 17-jewel manual wind movements.
Case width: 31mm and 35mm (excluding crowns).
