Another Great Auction
A trio of hand-painted collectible figurines depicting characters from the Marvel Universe, including Hulk, Star-Lord, and Drax the Destroyer. These pieces are cast in resin and mounted on weighted black display bases. The Hulk is depicted in a dynamic roaring pose with raised fists, standing on a textured tower-style plinth characteristic of a chess piece. Star-Lord (Peter Quill) is presented in his signature red trench coat and mask, holding a quad blaster weapon aloft. Drax the Destroyer is depicted with detailed red skin tattoos and is holding two daggers across his chest. Each base features an embossed Marvel logo on the side. The undersides of the bases are fitted with identification labels: the Hulk base is labelled ACC / 1628, the Star-Lord base is labelled AAR / 7492 with a 2015 copyright, and the Drax base is labelled AAU / 1562 with a 2015 copyright. The design and product coding are consistent with figurines produced by Eaglemoss for the Marvel Chess Collection and Marvel Movie Collection series.
