Another Great Auction
A collection of UK silver coins comprising multiple silver threepence denominations and a single silver fourpence or groat. Each coin features the young head portrait of Queen Victoria on the obverse with the legend VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIARUM REGINA F: D:. The silver threepence reverses display a crowned numeral 3 within a wreath, with legible dates including 1861, 1865, 1881, 1882, and 1888. The fourpence specimen, dated 1846, features the seated Britannia reverse design type with the inscription PENCE. The coins are struck in sterling silver of .925 fineness.
