A contemporary adjustable reading lamp produced by Serious Readers. The lamp features a weighted circular base in black, a flexible brass-toned gooseneck stem, and a black plastic lamp head designed for directional lighting. It is fitted with a black power cord featuring an integrated in-line on/off switch and a standard UK three-pin plug. A manufacturer label on the underside of the base identifies the maker as Serious Brands, Bierton, Great Britain, and provides technical specifications including a mains voltage of 220V-240V (50Hz) and a 12V secondary output, maximum 20W. The label also specifies the use of MR11 12V 20W replacement bulbs and carries the CE mark. A separate small white sticker indicates the item was hand built in December 2013.
