A collection of ceramic dinner and tea wares housed in two plastic storage crates. The primary service is porcelain by Noritake in the Lorraine pattern (No. 6785), featuring a blue transfer-printed scrolling floral and foliate border on a white ground, finished with silver-toned rims. The set includes a large circular lidded tureen, a large oval meat platter, several coffee mugs, a salt or pepper shaker, and multiple plates and saucers, many of which remain bubble-wrapped. The base of the platter bears the printed mark Noritake in cursive above a laurel wreath encircling a stylized N, with Japan, 6785, and Lorraine in a banner below. Also included is a partial tea service of white glazed ceramic, decorated with transfer-printed sprays of pink roses and green foliage with gilt rims. This set includes teacups, saucers, and a cream jug with a bulbous, lobed body and a scalloped foot. No maker marks are visible for the floral service.
