An extensive collection of British comic publications, primarily comprising the Eagle comic and associated Dan Dare memorabilia. The collection includes several original 1950s newsprint issues of the Eagle comic, notably featuring Volume 1, No. 1 from 14 April 1950, which introduces Dan Dare, Pilot of the Future. Other periodical content includes the Special Second-Birthday Number (Volume 3, No. 1), various 1950s editions such as Safari in Space and Trip to Trouble, and issues of the magazine Modern Wonder. Hardcover and softcover volumes include a comprehensive set of thirteen Dan Dare graphic novel reprints by Titan Books, with titles including Voyage to Venus Parts 1 and 2, The Red Moon Mystery, Marooned on Mercury, Operation Saturn Parts 1 and 2, The Phantom Fleet, Safari in Space, Trip to Trouble, Prisoners of Space, The Man from Nowhere, Rogue Planet, and Reign of the Robots. These editions feature the work of prominent artists Frank Hampson, Don Harley, and Frank Bellamy.
