An Arts and Crafts style fireplace fender constructed from copper. The front and side sections are decorated in relief with a repoussé design of water lilies and pads floating on stylized water. The entire surface exhibits a hand-hammered, dimpled texture characteristic of the period. The piece features mitred corners secured with visible copper rivets. No maker’s marks, stamps, or signatures are visible. The design and construction are consistent with British Arts and Crafts metalwork from the late Victorian or Edwardian eras.
