A bass guitar combo amplifier manufactured by Ashdown Engineering, model MAG 300 EVO II. The unit is constructed with a wooden cabinet covered in black carpet felt, featuring plastic corner protectors and a heavy-duty black metal grille with a signature wave pattern. Behind the grille are two Ashdown signature blue-coned speakers, arranged in a 2×10 configuration. The silver-coloured front control panel houses a variety of inputs and controls. From left to right, these include passive and active 1/4 inch jack inputs, an input level rotary control, and a circular illuminated Ashdown VU meter. The shaping section features push buttons for Bright and Deep presets, followed by a 5-band EQ consisting of Bass, Middle, and Treble rotary knobs, plus two additional frequency controls marked 340Hz and 1.6kHz, and an EQ In/Out button. Dedicated rotary controls for Compression and Sub-Harmonics are present, each with an associated In/Out push button. The output and connectivity section includes a balanced XLR D.I. output (post-EQ), 1/4 inch jack effects send and return, a 1/4 inch jack tuner/line output, and a master output level rotary control. The front panel is clearly marked with the Ashdown Engineering logo and MAG 300 EVO II model identification.
