This lot comprises a varied assortment of ceramics, commemorative items, and kitchenalia. The collection features a group of Ringtons commemorative tea ware produced for the company centenary, including teapots, hot water jugs, and mugs. These pieces are crafted from white glazed ceramic with blue banding and gilded accents, decorated with a transfer-printed crest of a horse-drawn delivery van. The inscriptions include Ringtons Centenary and Celebrating 100 Years of Quality and Service, flanked by the dates 1907 and 2007.
The lot also contains a large glazed ceramic model of a Shire horse in a harness, depicted with a brown coat and white feathered legs, in the style of Beswick or Melba Ware. Further ceramic items include a porcelain figural group of a couple in period costume, a small portrait bust of a lady, and a fine bone china cup and saucer decorated with a polychrome floral pattern featuring irises and crocuses with a gold-trimmed rim.
The collection is completed by a traditional cylindrical salt-glazed stoneware hot water bottle with a screw-top stopper and a lithographed World of Tea tinplate container featuring a map background and an illustration of a square-rigged sailing ship.
