A collection of eleven pieces of Spode earthenware tableware decorated in the celebrated Christmas Tree pattern. This iconic design, first introduced in 1938, features a central transfer-printed evergreen tree adorned with colourful baubles and topped with a Father Christmas figure, set amongst wrapped gifts. The pieces are finished with a cream glaze and a distinctive green border, often embellished with holly and mistletoe motifs. The set comprises one large rectangular serving platter with clipped corners, two smaller rectangular serving dishes, five circular plates, and three tree-shaped dipping dishes presented in their original Spode branded retail box. The reverse of the items features the transfer-printed mark Spode Christmas Tree S3324-A9 and copyright date 1938.
