A collection of Poole Pottery glazed earthenware tableware from the Twintone range, featuring the Seagull mottled grey and Ice Green turquoise colourway, pattern code C96. The set comprises a tall coffee pot with lid, a teapot with lid, a large twin-handled lidded sugar bowl, a smaller cylindrical lidded jar, a milk jug, and several teacups and saucers. The pieces exhibit the streamlined, organic forms characteristic of mid-century modern British industrial design. Each piece is finished with a pale grey exterior and a contrasting bright turquoise-blue glaze to the interiors and lid accents. The base of the pieces bears the printed Poole Pottery maker’s mark featuring a central dolphin motif flanked by the words POOLE and ENGLAND.
