A collection of framed multi-aperture watercolours and a maritime-themed doorstop. The watercolours are executed in a traditional topographical style, depicting various miniature scenes of the Norfolk Broads. The subjects include Broadland Mill, Coltishall, Ranworth Church, Horning, Ludham, Potter Heigham, St Benet’s, and How Hill, with each view identified by a hand-inscribed title on the mount. One mount is signed Tyrrell in ink to the lower right. The works are presented in matching dark wood frames with gilt-effect inner slips and cream multi-aperture mounts. The accompanying cast metal doorstop is modelled as a gaff-rigged sailing vessel on a stylised wave base, featuring hand-painted white sails and a blue and gold-toned base.
Pictures: 8 x 7 inches.
