A mixed group of mid-20th-century glassware and advertising ceramics. The glassware includes four clear lead crystal decanters of varying globular and mallet forms, decorated with deep geometric patterns including starbursts, diamond quilting, and fan motifs. Three are fitted with faceted ball or teardrop-shaped glass stoppers. The stemware includes a set of multi-coloured hock or wine glasses featuring cut-to-clear patterns in amber, cobalt blue, ruby red, amethyst, emerald green, and cranberry. Also included are several clear glasses with frosted green vine and leaf decoration and gilt rims, and a boxed set of small liqueur glasses with red banded decoration. The ceramic component is a black glazed decanter in the form of the Sandeman Don, the cloaked figure representing Sandeman Port and Sherry. The base of the ceramic decanter is marked with white printed characters reading WADE ENGLAND. A Shell Great Britons Collection Album is also included in the lot.
