A group of collectibles primarily relating to the 1953 Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, together with various decorative items. The paper ephemera includes a Coronation Procession Panorama published by Raphael Tuck and Sons Ltd. This interactive Tuck Book features movable card figures of the coronation coach, horses, and riders designed to be placed into slots within a fold-out background of The Mall. It retains its original outer envelope bearing the World’s Art Service trademark and the publisher’s royal warrant as Fine Art Publishers by Appointment to the late King George VI, H.M. Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and H.M. Queen Mary. Included is The Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Approved Souvenir Programme, published for King George’s Jubilee Trust. There is also a local interest souvenir guide for the Coronation Exhibition of Old Doncaster, held at the Art Gallery and Museum between June and August 1953. The decorative items consist of a circular wall mirror with a polished metal porthole-style frame featuring raised rivet details, a miniature black-finished cast iron frame with openwork scrolls and a fleur-de-lis cresting, and a small, plain-bodied metal tankard or measure.
