A pair of single-light candlesticks in the Art Deco style, typically dating to the 1930s. Each piece is designed with a stylized, elongated nude female figure in a dynamic leaping or running pose, which forms the stem of the holder. These figures support the candle nozzles with their outstretched hands and heads. The nozzles feature a textured leaf-like motif on the cups and flared, ruffled rims. The circular, domed bases are decorated with an embossed foliate border around the lower circumference. The items are made from cast base metal with a chrome-plated finish. No maker’s marks or signatures are present.
