A two-piece lot of decorative art glass. The first item is a mid-century modern style lidded glass chalice or candy jar. The clear glass vessel is hand-decorated with an abstract harlequin or stained-glass pattern featuring black line work and iridescent blue, red, and gold-toned enamels. The piece features a clear stem with a gilt knop and a circular foot. The lid is topped with a corresponding gilt finial. This item is in the style of mid-century Italian or Bohemian art glass. The second item is a decorative decanter with a matching stopper, possibly Bohemian or Venetian in origin. The body is formed from smoky amethyst-tinted glass, elaborately decorated with a fête galante scene depicting figures in 18th-century attire within a landscape that includes a windmill and classical architectural elements. The decoration is executed in raised gilding and polychrome enamels. The decanter features a heavily gilded neck and sits upon a flared, opaque dark glass base with gold-toned bands. A small white paper label with the number 4809 is affixed to the body.
