A vintage Seiko quartz desk or mantel alarm clock, manufactured in Japan. The item features a square gold-toned metal case with a decorative horizontally striped finish, alternating between brushed and polished textures. Four decorative screw heads are positioned at the corners of the front face. The circular champagne-toned dial is recessed and displays applied gold-toned baton hour markers alongside a dotted outer minute track. It is fitted with black baton-style hour and minute hands with white inserts, a gold-toned sweep second hand, and a thin black alarm-set hand. The dial is marked SEIKO at the 9 o’clock position, QUARTZ at the 3 o’clock position, and JAPAN at the lower right. The reverse includes a speaker grille, a knurled gold-toned knob for settings, and black plastic alarm controls.
