This collection comprises various ceramic items produced for Ringtons, the Newcastle-upon-Tyne based tea merchants, featuring both commemorative and promotional designs. The assortment includes a centenary teapot and matching mugs dated 1907-2007, decorated with blue transfer-printed bands, gilt edging, and a central illustration of a horse-drawn tea delivery wagon. A second white ceramic teapot and a matching rectangular tea caddy with rounded corners feature black transfer-printed decoration including the company crest and the inscription: RINGTONS TRADE MARK TEA MERCHANTS ALGERNON ROAD NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE.
