This lot consists of a collection of items including several ceramic pieces by Wade and a vintage mantel clock. The ceramic components feature items produced for Ringtons, comprising a character jar modelled as a man wearing a brown cap and spectacles, a cobalt blue teapot with a transfer-printed character illustration, and a cylindrical biscuit barrel with a pastel-striped pattern. Included with these is a large earthenware teapot decorated with a botanical blackberry and butterfly design. The lot is completed by a Western German mechanical musical alarm mantel clock with a waisted, scrolled case. The case is finished in black with hand-painted floral decoration and gilded accents to the borders. The cream dial features Roman numerals, ornate hands, and a musical note emblem. The dial is marked SPLENDID and WESTERN GERMANY, and the back is stamped Made in Germany.
