A commemorative 24% lead crystal decanter by Dartington Crystal, produced to celebrate Falkirk FC victory in the 1957 Scottish Cup. The clear glass bulbous body is etched with the official Falkirk FC club crest and a list of the winning squad members: Bert Slater, Alex Parker, Ian Rae, Alex Wright, Andy Irvine, John Prentice, Tommy Murray, Derek Grierson, George Merchant, Doug Moran, and Eddie O’Hara. The neck of the vessel is fitted with a polished metal collar, engraved with the inscription: Falkirk FC Scottish Cup Winners Hampden Park Glasgow 27th April 1957. The decanter features a blue glass stopper of rounded form and is accompanied by its original black Dartington Crystal presentation box. The glass is further etched with the text: Hand Made in England 24% Lead Crystal.
