This pair of mid-century modern art glass bud vases is crafted from vibrant ruby red glass cased in clear glass. The first vase features a tall cylindrical form supported by a thick, heavy clear glass base containing a single large controlled bubble. This piece has a ground and polished pontil. The second vase is of tapered conical form, resting on a clear glass spherical base decorated with the bullicante technique, featuring numerous small air bubbles trapped within the glass. Both pieces are hand-blown and exhibit the clean lines characteristic of mid-century European glass production.
