A Moeris Army Trade Pattern (ATP) British military issued wristwatch, dating from the Second World War era. The timepiece features a circular chrome-plated base metal case with a stainless steel screw-down case back and characteristic fixed strap bars. The aged cream-coloured dial is set with black Arabic numeral hour markers, a railroad-style outer minute track, and a recessed sub-seconds dial located at the 6 o’clock position. The dial is signed MOERIS beneath the 12 o’clock marker. The case back rim is further inscribed STAINLESS STEEL BACK and SWISS MADE. The watch is fitted with a manual wind mechanical movement and is accompanied by a heavily worn dark brown leather strap.
