A collection of hand-carved wooden sculptures and decorative objects, primarily in the style of 20th-century African safari carvings. The group includes a graduated series of stylised gazelles or antelopes, each mounted on an integral rectangular plinth. Also present are animal carvings including a zebra with dark-stained stripes, a Cape buffalo, a small elephant with an upturned trunk, and a stylised aquatic bird. Additional pieces comprise a carved male figure with painted red, black, and white accents, an ovoid lidded vessel, a polished burl wood egg with prominent grain, and a tall cylindrical carved object. The items are fashioned from various unidentified hardwoods with finishes ranging from natural matte to a high-gloss polish. No visible signatures, maker’s marks, or inscriptions are present on the pieces.
