A late 19th or early 20th-century English circular wall dial clock, of the type commonly used in schools or stations. The clock is housed in a mahogany-stained circular wooden case with a moulded surround and a glazed brass-rimmed bezel. The white painted dial is inscribed A. E. MARKS to the left of the centre and NOTTINGHAM to the right. The dial features black Roman numeral hour markers and a simple outer minute track, with a single winding hole located between the centre arbor and the III numeral.
