A mixed collection of British paper ephemera dating from the mid-20th century. The lot includes a National Coal Board (NCB) red promotional folder for the Heat Investment Plan, containing information on solid fuel heating for commerce and industry and the NCB Housewarming Plan. Featured is a large-format Sex Maniac’s Fantasy Calendar for 1975, containing monochrome satirical illustrations bearing the printed signature RobinRay74. Regional and tourist ephemera include a Louis Tussaud’s Prominent People exhibition catalogue for the Central Beach, Blackpool attraction, priced 3d, and a 1958 souvenir programme for the Royal Pavilion Brighton Regency Exhibition with a blue and white architectural cover illustration. The collection also contains a Blackpool Tower illustrated souvenir and a corresponding promotional flyer, a W.D. and H.O. Wills Cigarette Picture-Card Album with a decorative brown cover, and a March 1946 edition of The Institution of Mechanical Engineers Journal and Proceedings (Vol. 152, No. 4). Completing the lot are a programme for the Tideswell Wakes and Well-Dressing dated June 1964 and a fragmentary monochrome illustrated calendar page for April to June 1964.
