An assortment of British stoneware produced by the Denby pottery, featuring the Greenwheat pattern designed by Albert Colledge. The collection comprises multiple pieces, including a teapot with a green glazed lid, a tall lidded coffee pot or hot water jug, a cream jug, and several teacups with matching saucers. The items are crafted from glazed stoneware and are decorated with hand-painted stylised wheat stalks in shades of teal-green, blue, and red with brown accents set against a cream-coloured ground. Several components feature deep forest-green glazed interiors or lids. The bases of the items are marked with a black backstamp which includes a central oval with the word DENBY in white, the pattern name Greenwheat in script, and the phrases MADE IN ENGLAND and OVEN-PROOF. The facsimile signature of the designer, A. Colledge, is present alongside a graphic of a wheat stalk.
