This lot comprises an assortment of decorative brass and mixed media items. Included is a large cast brass rectangular plaque featuring a relief scene of a figure within a classical or pastoral landscape. A leather harness strap is fitted with a cast brass mount depicting two lions passant flanking a shield, and carries various brass charms including a pair of clogs, a horseshoe, and a miniature coach and horses. A souvenir cast brass bell is inscribed with Stratford-upon-Avon and Shakespeare’s House. The collection also includes a pair of oval cast brass frames joined by a chain containing printed reproductions of portraits, an ornate cast brass tea strainer with a fleur-de-lis handle, and a novelty brass ornament in the form of a golf bag set with three faceted clear glass stones. Completing the lot is a miniature Middle Eastern style dagger with filigree-style metalwork and red and turquoise-coloured paste stones, housed in its original fitted box.
