A collection of British philatelic materials and topographical postcards presented in two albums. The lot features an assortment of Royal Mail PHQ (Postal Headquarters) cards from the mid-1980s. Specific sets identified include the 1985 Famous Trains series featuring the 17p Flying Scotsman and 22p Golden Arrow designs, the 1985 Royal Mail 350 Years of Service set with 31p and 34p values, and the 1986 Commonwealth Games Edinburgh series depicting weightlifting and shooting disciplines. The collection also contains a philatelic card with a Blue Tit illustration by J. Norris Wood, printed by Harrison and Sons Ltd.
