A collection of Doctor Who memorabilia produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the series in 2013. The lot includes two official BBC hardback books and a set of photographic art prints. The first book is titled Doctor Who: The Vault – Treasures from the First 50 Years by Marcus Hearn, published by BBC Books with a foreword by Steven Moffat. This large-format hardback volume provides a documented history of the programme. The second book is titled Doctor Who: The Essential Guide, published by BBC Books, and features a celebratory collage 50 graphic on the front cover composed of various characters and icons from the series. Also included is a set of photographic art prints, each individually housed in a clear plastic protective sleeve. These prints depict various incarnations of the Doctor and notable scenes, including the Third Doctor played by Jon Pertwee, the Sixth Doctor played by Colin Baker with a Cyberman, and the Master played by Anthony Ainley alongside Ace played by Sophie Aldred.
