A Regency style carved and gilded wooden column, likely intended for use as a decorative pedestal or a lamp base. The piece features a central tapered column with vertical reeded and fluted detailing. It is supported by a stepped octagonal base and terminates in a circular moulded top. The construction consists of a timber core coated in a white gesso ground with a gilded finish. No maker’s marks, inscriptions, or labels are visible.
