A large decorative wall-hanging composed of various carved and painted wooden elements mounted onto an irregularly shaped, dark brown leather hide backing. The central composition is symmetrical, featuring a vertical wooden structure with a carved toggle-like handle set within a recessed frame. This is flanked by two semicircular wooden panels decorated with polychrome painted petal motifs in shades of terracotta red and white, set against a black ground with incised border detailing. The horizontal arms of the central structure display incised geometric cross-hatching and are finished with a light green wash. Two large, carved wooden forms resembling broad leaves are positioned at the top and bottom of the central motif, stained in a muted green with incised vein details. The wooden components are attached to a heavy, dark-toned hide which features leather thongs at the sides. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the piece.
