A collection of Methodist commemorative ceramics and associated decorative objects, primarily dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The group features various transfer-printed items including a mug with a portrait of John Wesley and the date 1738, a 1910 centenary mug featuring a portrait of Hugh Bourne, and a mug inscribed Wesleyan Chapel Brigg in gilt script. Also present is a saucer marked Wesleyan Church Masham and a teapot transfer-decorated with a portrait of a woman in a bonnet. The lot includes a large porcelain cabinet plate hand-painted with a rural cottage landscape and flowering trees, alongside a white ceramic bust of John Wesley. Non-ceramic items consist of a leather strap with a brass plate inscribed Centenary Epworth Wesley Memorial and a ceramic figurine of a boxer dog.
