This lot comprises two sets of silver-plated drinking vessels, likely dating from the mid-20th century. The first set contains six larger goblets, each featuring a rounded bowl decorated with engraved scrolling foliate patterns, supported by a short baluster stem and a plain circular foot. This set is presented in a black rectangular case with a blue satin-lined lid and a blue velvet-fitted base. The second set consists of six smaller liqueur or cordial glasses of matching design and decoration, housed in a blue velvet-covered presentation box with a matching blue interior. Both boxes are secured with brass-tone latches. The style and construction are characteristic of export ware, possibly from the Indian subcontinent. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible.
