A collection of vintage promotional items related to the brewing, soft drink, and tobacco industries, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The group includes two ceramic whisky jugs: a cream-glazed jug for The Famous Grouse featuring a transfer-printed red grouse and brand text, and an ochre-glazed bulbous jug for Haig Fine Old Scotch Whisky featuring a crest. The tobacciana component consists of a large square white ceramic ashtray with the Marlboro chevron logo and the slogan Come to where the flavour is, along with a smaller rectangular white ceramic Marlboro ashtray. The lot also contains three square cobalt blue glass ashtrays with scalloped edges, each bearing yellow lettering for Apollo Soft Drinks. Completing the collection is a dimpled clear glass tankard with a red square logo containing a capital letter D, and a small white ceramic jug featuring the red logo and Triskelion symbol associated with Okell’s Brewery, Isle of Man.
