A three-piece collection of hand-painted glazed ceramic whimsical items produced by Walmsley Heap in the United Kingdom. The set includes a fantastical multi-level building, a cat figurine, and a rabbit-themed base.
The primary structure is a “Curios” shop designed with a timber-framed aesthetic, featuring a green-tiled roof and an integrated tree-trunk structural support. The exterior is detailed with various miniature accessories including barrels, crates, and a shield emblem on the gable. A small sign on the facade reads CURIOS. The base of the building is incised with the cursive signature Walmsley Heap.
The second piece is an anthropomorphic ginger cat figurine wearing blue trousers, depicted reclining in a wooden-textured wheelbarrow filled with red fruit.
The third piece is a tiered, circular base with a stone-paved and wood-grain texture. It features two anthropomorphic rabbits in blue clothing; one is seated holding a lattice-topped pie, while the other stands with a surprised expression.
The ceramic bases contain pre-formed holes for the insertion of artificial foliage sprigs, which are included in the lot.
