This lot comprises an extensive collection of antique and vintage hardware primarily manufactured from brass, cast metal, and steel. The furniture hardware includes various handle designs such as Georgian-style bail handles with stamped and pierced backplates, Victorian drop pulls, and Edwardian escutcheons. Architectural fittings feature multiple brass doorknobs in spherical, oval, and ribbed patterns. A group of furniture casters is present, consisting of brass or brass-plated fork assemblies with screw-threaded stems and dark-toned composition wheels. The collection also contains an assortment of technical components salvaged from scientific instruments, including lens housings, adjustment knobs, caliper or slide rule parts with linear scales, and a brass gear dial numbered 0 through 9.
