An open-face stem-wind and stem-set mechanical pocket watch by the American Waltham Watch Company. The movement is a 7-jewel Traveler grade, signed A.W.W.Co. Waltham, Mass. and numbered 18372657, dating the piece to circa 1912. The white enamel dial features black Roman numeral hour markers, a railroad-style outer minute track, and a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position. It is fitted with blued steel hands. The movement is housed in a gold-plated case with a hinged rear cover.
