A vintage wristwatch by the British manufacturer Smiths, from the Empire range. The watch features a champagne-coloured sunburst dial set with gold-toned arrow indices and a double-baton marker at the 12 o’clock position. The dial is signed Smiths Empire below the 12 o’clock position and Shockproof 5 Jewels above the 6 o’clock position. The case appears to be chrome-plated base metal with a gold-toned bezel and a stainless steel snap-on case back. It is paired with an aftermarket gold-tone expansion-link bracelet. The timepiece operates on a manual wind mechanical movement.
