This lot comprises a collection of 10 hand-painted miniature figurines representing various characters from the Marvel and DC comic book universes. The set is identified as part of the Marvel Classic Figurine Collection and the DC Superhero Collection produced by Eaglemoss Publications. The Marvel characters included are Spider-Man, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Guardian, Falcon, Loki, Sabretooth, Invisible Woman, and Impossible Man. The DC character represented is Batman. Each figure is cast in lead alloy or metallic resin and stands on an individual black rectangular display base. Several bases feature the word MARVEL embossed in block capitals on the front vertical edge. The underside of the Invisible Woman base includes the character name in five languages, the identification number 41, and a copyright for 2007 Marvel. The Impossible Man base features the character name in two languages, the identification number 95, and a copyright for 2009 Marvel. These figurines are static display pieces with no articulation. No original packaging or accompanying magazines are present.
