A pair of fine china teacups and matching saucers manufactured by Royal Worcester in the Primula pattern. Each piece features a scalloped edge and is decorated with a broad turquoise blue border containing gilded foliate scrollwork. The centres of the saucers and the bodies of the cups are ornamented with polychrome floral sprays including primulas and pansies. The cups are designed with elegant looped handles accented with gilt detailing. The bases of the cups are marked with a black printed backstamp featuring the Royal Worcester crown and monogram device with the number 51, alongside the text Fine China, the pattern name Primula, and the copyright date 1997. The set is housed in its original grey presentation box bearing the Royal Worcester Established 1751 branding.
