A collection of vintage silver-plated flatware manufactured for use by the Cunard Line shipping company. The assortment comprises various forks and spoons featuring multiple handle patterns, including fiddle-style designs with foliate and shell-motif terminals, and simpler tapered forms. The pieces are prominently marked with the Cunard company name and its characteristic crest of a rampant lion. Reverse markings identify the manufacturers as British Silverware Ltd, marked BSL Plate ENGLAND with a circular C punch, and Chesterfield Plate, marked CHESTERFIELD PLATE with a square D punch. These items were commissioned for commercial maritime service.
