A collection of modern glazed earthenware serving pieces in the Christmas Tree pattern by the British manufacturer, Spode. The pattern features a centrally placed, transfer-printed decorated Christmas tree with presents at its base, surrounded by sprigs of holly and mistletoe, with each piece finished with a characteristic green rim. The collection includes a large oval bowl with a scalloped rim, a rectangular four-compartment divided serving dish, a round plate with a scalloped rim, and a large circular divided serving/chip-and-dip platter with three outer compartments and a central well. The base of the circular divided platter bears a printed circular backstamp. In the centre, it reads Spode Christmas Tree c.1938 S3324-A13 and includes the manufacturer website address, indicating modern production. The mark also notes the pieces are dishwasher, freezer, and microwave safe. The items are presented with several vintage cardboard storage boxes.
