A decorative small-scale model of a US Navy Mark V diving helmet. The piece is constructed from metal with a bright chrome or nickel-plated finish. It features characteristic design elements of the historical Mark V helmet, including four circular viewing ports protected by metal grilles, a side-mounted air intake pipe, and a rounded dome. The helmet is attached to a wide, curved breastplate or corselet, which is detailed with a series of integrated bolts and wingnuts.
