A set of two playing card decks housed in a green presentation box featuring gold-toned borders and printed retailer marks for Beckett & Graham, London. Both decks remain in their original factory-sealed plastic wrapping. The reverse of the cards displays an ornate scrolling filigree pattern, with one deck in a green colourway and the other in a brown colourway. The visible face cards depict historical figures in 18th-century period costume, specifically Maria Theresia as the Queen of Diamonds and Josef II as the King of Diamonds. These designs are characteristic of the Rococo style produced by the Viennese manufacturer Piatnik. The cards feature gold-toned gilded edges.
